Happy Three Years!

Wow...has it really been that long? Kinda feels like it could be since I can't imagine life without him, but at the same time, three years sounds like a long time! But here we are...three years into our marriage, one kid here and one...not on the way yet :) Mike played a joke on his family though and had his little brother congratulate us on a pregnancy that isn't, but the fam believed it because a missionary wouldn't lie right? :) It was kind of funny, but then again is a Mike thing to do. For our anniversay we went out to eat...and got free dessert! Leave it to Mike to work his magic as usual :) Then we went to Build-a-Bear where Mike made his anniversary gift...a Captain America Bear! :)

So he picked his bear

Stuffed his bear

And don't worry...he made a wish by putting the heart to his chest before it went inside :)

Fluffed his bear

And dressed his bear. I asked Mike if he were more nervous dressing this bear or Steven for the first time when we brought him home from the hospital :)

And then we got to take him home!

Thanks Daddy for putting up with Mommy for the last three years! Sure glad we have you babe! Happy 3 years :)

And Here We Have Idaho!

I love, love, LOVE my family! It was so good to see them all again! We were able to drive up for my brother's wedding and spend time with everyone for about a week and a half and it was so good! Steven loved all the attention and Mike and I loved being with family and strengthening bonds. While up there we were able to go up to Pocatello and see some really good friends from Rexburg.

Jeff Crowther and Mike have always had a good relationship...but maybe too good if they're comfortable enough to wear pantyhose on their head :) Jk...Mike asked many times to make sure Karissa had never worn these before putting them on haha. Its this game where a tennis ball is in the end of a leg and then they swing their heads, twist them and run opposite to try and rip it off the other person's head. It was pretty entertaining to watch :)

Then Mike ripped one of his legs off on accident and made a new fashion statement!

This is honestly one of the most amazing and fun couple ever! We've been so lucky to have them as friends! We met them our first week in church after getting married, and they had just gotten married too! It was meant to be :) What really sealed the deal was when they passed us a note in Sunday School asking us to check yes or no to coming over for dinner. Like I said...so much fun! :) Not to mention their cute daughter Brooklyn...we just have to stay in contact so Steven can get to know her better ;)

And if you thought Steven wasn't a ladies man, think again! Little Miss Nora Also came to visit and keep her eye on Steven :) Honestly...I have no idea how we got so lucky and fortunate with such good friends. We have really missed Rexburg. Not the city itself, nor the school...but the people there. We met so many good people and are so blessed to have this extended family in our lives :) The old gang got together again for another hoo-rah and hopefully it won't be the last. They came and went at various times, but Saturday was a fun filled day of visits from people we love! Before everyone split we were able to go to dinner with the Tophams, Barnes, and Schenks. Thank you so much you guys for coming to see us! I know that everyone had to make sacrifices to be there, but it was so nice to see and play with you all...even if my husband did wear women's nylons :) (side note: Steven has a stick in his mouth, not a cigar!)

I can't believe I didn't get more pictures while with my family! :( My only excuse is that I was just too busy having fun :) It was a jam packed week full of activities. We went cliff jumping (amazing how fearful I've become after becoming a mom...I'll never make fun of you again sisters!), got together as couples for games, and then twice as just sisters...SO FUN! Like I said before, I love my family. It was so good to see all of you and to welcome Kayla into the family! She is such a dear sweet sister already and I'm so glad it gave me an excuse to come back to Idaho, so thank you for that as well, I know you got married just for me :) Thank you for a fun week Bingham Clan! I already can't wait till next time!
(below is honestly pretty much the only picture I got...the three redheaded boys :)

Dallas Zoo!

Before we went to Idaho, we were able to have a family outing to the Dallas Zoo! It was a lot of fun and big! Steven loved seeing all the animals and did really well. Mike's sister, Stacie, and her kids, Baby Tyler, Claire, Ellie, and JT were able to come with us as well. How fun! :)

They had a station where we were able to feed the giraffes...fun!!

And this handsome guy was right up next to the window! So cool!

Haha...I love these next few pictures of Steven. He does this a lot when we go on walks and stuff and I think its one of the cutest things! Love my boy...especially when he's chillin :)

It was such a fun day! Glad we were able to go and spend it with such great people!

Happy Father's Day!

9 months ago an amazing hunk of a stud was able to welcome in a spunky baby boy...

As he held his little boy for the first time, he realized his life would never be the same again

I'm the lucky gal who gets to call this incredible man mine. I can't believe how lucky Steven and I are to have such a man like Mike in our lives. Steven is the luckiest baby...he doesn't even know! I love to see them interact together and the friendship and bond that they already have. Its the cutest thing ever!

Right from the get go Mike has take to being a Daddy like a fish to water. I never was worried, but it still was such a fun experience to see my husband become a Daddy...and such a good one! Mike has loved Steven unconditionally and I still remember how when Steven and I were in the hospital, Mike couldn't sleep so he came back up, just to hold Steven and be by me. I woke up to him sitting in the chair holding our son. How glad and lucky am I that Mike loves being a Dad?

Its hard to remember Steven ever being really tiny, but he was! Even though it scared him at first...Mike loved holding Steven as a newborn and has commented on how he misses how he would just lay and snuggle there. Luckily Steven has started a snuggle phase again and Mike is eating it up again! And boy does he get the snuggles! You can tell Steven loves his Daddy :)

Our Family wouldn't be complete without you Mike!

I have loved seeing Mike be such a good daddy to our son. He has gotten to stay at home and spend a lot of one-on-one time with Steven, and I have often thought he does a better job than I ever could! He gets down and crawls with him and tickles him, and...shoot I'm crying! And I love how every night when I'm off from work Mike says, "Let's go look at our son while he's sleeping...he's just so cute!" But I really remember one night when he told me, "I go in and look at him every night before I go to sleep...I just love looking at him!" I can tell Mike loves our boy so much and he is SUCH a good Daddy!

So Mike remember...YOU are my Prince Charming...

And YOU are our Super Hero Dad

And YOU make our family complete.
Happy Father's Day Honey!
Sure do love and appreciate all you do!

P.S. Steven told me this morning that you're his favorite Uncle, Aunt...YOU are his favorite everything but most of all his favorite friend and Daddy :)
THANK YOU FOR BEING SO AMAZING BABE!

He's 9 months old...HOLY COW!!

Really? Was it only 9 months ago that we were welcoming our little bundle of joy into our lives? I still can't believe it...its gone by so fast and I just love this little munchkin SOOO much! We had his nine month appointment on Friday and he weighs 21 lbs (50-75%) and is 29 1/2 inches tall (75-90%). I haven't been putting his head, but that was 48 inches (95+%). Crazy big munchkin :) So Steven has always been a kinda snotty baby (literally, not in his attitude). When I asked the doc about it he said that Steven wasn't sick, he just was teething and has allergies. So we now have Steven on zyrtec, we'll see if that helps...fingers crossed! Steven has started doing lots of things...he can now clap his hands (and will do so whenever we say, "yay!") he laughs all the time, has two bottom teeth and get this....FOUR of his top teeth are coming in. One has actually broken and another is pretty close. The funny thing is I didn't even know it was four till I felt the one had broken through! This kid is way too happy and good for his own good :) He has started climbing up onto things (like the baker's rack and the fireplace self), will pull himself up and walk around or walk pushing things around. He's learned a lot from Capri who is only a month older so that's fun. He loves peek-a-boo and LOVES to eat! He's getting so big!

We've given him one hair cut so far, but his hair is getting long again. The above two pictures are when we'd been outside in the rain for a bit, so his hair was damp, and then while nursing I usually play with his hair...this was the end result. So you can kinda see how long it is and yep, it has some wave and curl to it! I'm kinda curious how it'll go if we let it grow a little bit longer. Haven't decided if we'll cut it or keep growing it out. Mike wants to grow it out and have him be Thor for Halloween...yeah we'll see.

I love this little series of pictures...it made me fee good :) So here Steven sees me...

Decides he wants me (at least that's what I tell myself, not that he wants the camera)

"I'm coming mommy!"

Almost there...

 Yay! I made it!!

Honestly, this kid is crawling faster all the time! I love to watch him explore

LOVE YOU STEVEN!! So glad we have this little bundle of joy in our lives...can't imagine life without him and can't believe how fast they grow! Enjoy the pics below of him crawling...sorry it took me so long to get some up.

Grandpa's Crib

My Dad made all of my sisters cribs when they got pregnant with their first kids. Since he'd had his stroke before I was even married, I didn't think that was going to happen for me...but low and behold my sweet Mother found a way! She asked my Grandma if we could use the crib my Dad had made for her. So a little used, but still nice and something my Dad had made. My Dad loved wood work and every item I have that he made is very near and dear to me. Growing up I remember working with my Dad as he taught me how to make a wood vase and at work how the shop always smelled like wood chips. To this day when I smell wood, or even weeds burning, it brings back memories of times with my Pops. So...here's some pictures of Steven in the crib...I went a little camera happy if you can't tell. Thank you Mom and Dad for the good time, memories, and for not stopping after Marjorie but continuing on so I could be a part of this amazing family.

I love how he sleeps with his little bum in the air  :) So cute! :)

He's pulling himself up now and this is often how I find him when I get him out of bed now :)

 Yummy! :)

Love my sweet boy...Love my family...Love the life that I have been given :)
